JOHN MAXWELL PROGRAMS
Are you one of those leaders who asks, “How can I learn more from the top experts in leadership so I can improve my leadership skills?”
The answer is simple, but not necessarily easy…
John C. Maxwell is a prolific author and leadership expert, recognized by Success Magazine and the American Management Association as the Global Thought Leader about Leadership. As a highly skilled John Maxwell Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I am able to share with you many of John’s leading development programs, delivered in a variety of methods.
Here’s an overview of what I can bring you thru my association with and mentorship by John C. Maxwell:
Good Leaders Ask Great Questions: One method for mastering the art of leadership is to master the art of asking questions and using them to learn and grow, connect with people, challenge yourself, improve your team, and develop better ideas.
Leadership Gold: Gaining leadership insight is a lot like mining gold. You do not set out to look for dirt; you look for the nuggets. I will guide you through the process of discovering your personal leadership gold nuggets so you can make them work best for your organization.
Becoming a Person of Influence: Whatever your vocation or aspiration, you can increase your impact on others by Becoming a Person of Influence. Learn simple, insightful ways to interact more positively with others, and watch your personal and organizational success go off the charts.
Everyone Communicates, Few Connect: If you want to succeed, you must learn to connect with people. And, while it may seem like some people are just born with it, the fact is anyone can learn how to make every communication an opportunity for a powerful connection.
How to be a REAL Success: Learn the four elements to success — Relationships, Equipping, Attitude, and Leadership — and how to develop them in yourself, raising your potential for success.

Today Matters: Discover how to “seize the day” by implementing twelve daily practices to help you control your daily agenda, make time for the important people in your life, and find success in whatever you endeavor to accomplish.
360° Leadership Assessments
Have you reached a plateau in your leadership growth? Maybe you’ve progressed fairly quickly through some levels of your career path but now feel stuck?
Here’s what I know: Intent does NOT equal Impact!
Going through a 360° assessment is a revelatory exercise, and I say that from personal experience. Going through one in 2002 was actually a key turning point in my career. What I discovered was that the people around me were not experiencing me the way I intended to show up and in some cases, if I didn’t make some changes in style and approach, I was on my way to getting stuck in my career growth.
It’s important to understand that others cannot see your intent, but they do get to interpret your words, actions, and behaviors. When there’s a disconnect between the two, there is miscommunication, misunderstanding, and sometimes, conflict… which may result in your getting stuck, being passed over for promotions, or even missing out on a raise.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not a “get stuck and stay stuck” kind of person. I needed to understand what was holding me back and discover options for how I could begin growing and moving forward, again.
The 360o process is how we uncover how others are experiencing you in a variety of areas of your work and leadership. Your results will open the door for deeper conversations about what others expect of you, how they experience you, and where you’re not in alignment.
Once you have that understanding, you have the option of adapting your style and approach to be more effective with the various people in your life and work.

Leadership Game
Do you have a sense that your leadership team isn’t on the same page when it comes to your business philosophy?
What about identifying the most important challenges your organization will face in the coming months — would each of you come up with the same list?
Do you have a shared understanding of the key decisions that have been made recently and what the consequences have been?
If your answers to any, or all, of those questions causes even a touch of heartburn, maybe it’s time to play a game!
That’s right! I said, “Let’s play a game!” Not just any game…let’s play The Leadership Game. This game was developed for, and is used exclusively by John Maxwell certified coaches and teachers. Designed to pull your team into meaningful discussion about these, and other, important topics, this game is deceptively powerful.
You see, I’ve found that when you frame the experience as “game play,” participants don’t put up the same mental and emotional barriers they often do when faced with a discussion about leadership philosophy, decision making, organizational challenges, and team member contributions.
After a recent three-hour game session, several participants from a leading manufacturing organization said they wished we had more time together because they wanted to keep playing and get through all the cards!
